At the 2005 AGM, the Australian Wrestling Union announced the establishment of TEAM 2010 in preparation for the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi. Further details on the initiative were announced at the 2006 National Wrestling Championships.
In April 2008, the WAInc appointed Mr. Richard Wiess to fill the role of TEAM
2010 High Performance Manager.
Mr. Don Brown has been appointed as Assistant High Performance Manager.
